A Little Piece of Heaven

That special place, in my mind, is Movia Wineries.  The wines that Ales Kristancic makes by traditional methods  fall  into that category.  A soft, gentle, inspiring taste. This past summer,  I went to Movia Wineries, in the western part of Slovenia called Goriska Brda, near the Italian border and the Adriatic Sea with my Slovenian partner, Miha Rott.   We were welcomed to a lovely tasting, accompanied by local cheese, bread, and charcuterie.  A beautiful place, a beautiful day.http://www.movia.si/ (in Slovenian language but self explanatory.)  Taste of Slovenia takes us to Movia, for a tour, tasting, and Slow Food evening with Ales and Vesna Kristancic.

Thanks, Augie. I can indeed testify that Movia wines are the best wines in my world. There are American distributors.
The Italians, very circumspect wine critics, love Movia wines. As well as the Chinese- there is a Movia shop in Bejing.
