Lake Bled with Castle

On Day  3 and 4 of our tour, we will be spending time in Slovenian Alps at the glacial Lake Bled.  We overnite at the Triglav Hotel,  www.hoteltriglavbled.si/en   Triglava, 4 star residence with famous restaurant for two nights.   A reception at Bled Castle, seen in the background of this photo, will be held Evening Three with a special surprise guest,  followed by dinner at the 1905 Triglav Restaurant. Triglav is the highest mountain peak in the Julian Alps, named after Julius Caesar.  First climbed in 1778, Triglav is over 9,000 ft. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triglav. Here Triglav appears on Slovenian stamps and the national flag.

Guests will have time to stroll around the Lake, enjoy a  Kremšnita (kremna  rezina),http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kremna_rezina,  a specialty of the region, or just enjoy the mountain air.
