TO THE AIRPORT AND FROM THE AIRPORT TO LJUBLJANA To get to the Joze Pucnik Airport, also called Ljubljana Airport and Brnik, OR from Ljubljana to the airport,   MARKUN SHUTTLE is fast and convenience. http://www.prevozi-markun.si  for times. Call 386-41 792 863.   Around 8 euros. At the main bus station is it located at Lane 28.   Markun parks right outside the airport in front of the terminal.  There are other shuttles as well.

From London, Stanstead to Ljubljana. Departure times from London to Ljubljana on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday at 12:55 PM at the end of May 2014 around 60 euros ($83.00).

Direct Flight from Philadelphia on US Airways to Venice. From Venice to Ljubljana with private transportation. Economical van transportation can be arranged from Venice and other cities to Ljubljana at:   Go Opti  at http://www.goopti.com

The most common connection from the US is to fly to  Frankfurt, Munich, London, Paris, or Vienna, and then fly into Ljubljana on Adria Airways.

3. VIA TRAIN  TO LJUBLJANA:  Fly into a capital city and ride the train Accessible by train from: Vienna (4 hours), Zagreb (2 hours), Salzburg (4 hours),  Munich (6 hours), Budapest (9 hours), Frankfurt (10 hours) and Zurich (11 hours ).

Train  service is not available from Venice direct to Ljubljana.  A train from Venice to Villach and bus from Villach to Ljubljana is the only public transport available for this connection.
